It’ll be a joy to watch the cunts tear each other to shreds. Nicky and Sheedy knew to get out when the going was good.
Ken hogan surely ?
A philistine. Poor Tommy Dunne has also been badly tainted by his association with this regime and it’s hard to see his reputation surviving. Ultimately though, until helmets are removed from the game it’s hard to see Tipp ever again being a dominant force at the highest level.
Any chance we might get Johnny Carroll back, with his Golden Trumpet. He did alright off the back of the 87/88 team.
They haven’t peaked yet FFS
Hard to know how much of Dunne’s reputation is based on the quality available to him at underage level and how much is down to his own ideas and methods. Will have to go the long arduous route most recently taken by ken hogan in order to redeem himself.
The helmet observation, like all the best humour, has more than a ring of truth to it.
Yeah, I can’t get passed the Hynes at fullback think, kk will viciously assault that area early and often
Worst Tipp loss since 1897?
I would be amazed if Regan holds up as well. I’d anticipate a very fruitful avenue of attack right down the middle for Kilkenny. Aside from the defence though, how will Galway deal with Michael Fennelly? It’s not a pair of callow youngsters they’re competing for breaks with this time.
The Tan’ will put him in his pocket.
The logic was that it was too much of a risk putting Niall Donoghue in there in his first year playing senior as much for the players confidence as conceding goals. Too many young Galway hurlers have been thrown in at the deep end too soon down the years and Cunningham and co have sought to address this. Donoghue could always have gone in there if required but to be honest it hasn’t come up yet.
Would it be fair to say after today that Limerick are the new power in Munster and should probably have been Munster champions this year?
Correct.
Curran is hardly gone, he was close to being Tipp’s best player today. O’Mahony is overrated, always was, always will be.
Clare.
You bastard of a man.
They must be in the shake up what with them winning two munster minors and this year’s U-21.
