AI SHC Semi-Final Killkenny v Tipperary

I can’t see him sticking his neck out.

I don’t think thats the kind of break he’s been looking for.

Surprised that Player A wanting to man mark someone but a different player on the opposition wanting to man mark Player A hasn’t happened before in GAA to be honest.
Poor aul Lar isn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer and just ended up looking foolish but what was he supposed to do given his instructions.
Were the four players literally running around beside each other the whole game?

They’ll be mad for revenge alright but in fairness we have enough bad blood built up with them over the years ourselves and wouldn’t it be great to beat them twice in the same year. KK were awesome today but Tipp stoked the fire and when the flames started to rise they couldn’t deal with the heat.

I’m looking forward to it already.

The strange thing was that once kk were going to man mark that he just didn’t take tyrell to full back and try to isolate him. Incredibly bad management from Ryan.

But for Duignan and Morrissey to say he deserved a yellow card for it was nothing short of outrageous.

I’d say Larry got some grief off the ball in fairness. Then he hits back and he gets booked.

It ain’t pretty

Lar didn’t stand up for himself today. Tyrell deserved a few bruised ribs for the shit he was at and Lar should have dished it out.

Nice fire related metaphors there. To move it on a level your lads are going to crash and burn in the final.

Dont get me wrong mate… we wont keep it pucked out to them

Yeah the way Duignan was going on was a total joke. I’d say Lar has spent his whole career being called windy and is too soft if anything and Duignan going on as if he was filthy was laughable. He was far too soft for what he was trying to do anyway. He absolutely needs space yet his manager’s tactic was for him to bottle himself up.
The funniest part of the day was Declan Ryan saying he’d have to ‘review the tactic’

That was brilliant.

Duignan saying that Declan Ryan had to take Lar off was fucking hilarious, as if Corbett was a bold primary schools player who was picking on the other lads. He may have the mental age of one but that’s beside the point.

Hogan will hardly displace Reid or Taggy ?

Larkin?

Maybe. Larkin was better today than he has been this year but if the big call is to be made and Hogan is to be brought back in, then yeah, Larkin could be the one to go.
Mick Fennelly captained us in the final in 09 off the bench.
Although Cody might not ever be able to set foot in the Village if he did drop Larkin.

What a dopey cunt

I can’t see any changes for KK. Taggy’s work rate is phenomenal.
And he got a decent score today.

Larkin’s goal today might give him a lift. He’s also a veteran and a Village man. Cody is very loyal to his veterans. Rice would be a big loss if he doesn’t make it.

Larkin is carrying an injury I’m told.

Larkin’s hardly a veteran - he’s just finished his Leaving Cert.
