I’m just observing that Rovers are already renting a stadium and a mob from SDCC, so it’s a natural follow on that they’d rent an academy from them too.
Anchor tenants paying fuck all rent. A new stand being built for them and all. I’d say every airtricity club would love a deal like that.

Like I said. They are paying fuck all rent. It would cost more than that to maintain a stadium for a year. Spongers,whose main contribution to the community is lots of overtime for the cops in the area.
the council only put 1m in to finish it, they made their money back, people have seen real,juve & spurs in tallaght. its great for the community to have a club there
Harry Kane scored his first ever goal for Spurs in Tallaght, that was worth the construction costs alone.

I see the FAI are against the academy, believing it will fuck over schoolboy clubs & other LOI clubs as it gives SRFC an unfair advantage.
