Looks like the Shams are going to be West Ham’s bitch…

Just smacked the head off the @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy outside the ground. Wexford Youths casuals aren’t to be trifled with.

A first ever Premier Division victory for Wexford last night after a brace by Sarsfields GFC stalwart Paul “Spot” Murphy saw off Bray.

I’ve been impressed with what I’ve seen of them on Soccer Republic, I’d say they’ve got an excellent chance of staying up.

Who’ll be down near the bottom? Sligo, Bray, Wexford, Finn Harps?

Throw in Longford too, they seem to have regressed badly from last season. Sligo are a mess, Bray spent big and will probably worm their way out, they always do. I like Wexford’s style and attitude and Finn Harps home form should keep them above the trapdoor.

At this early stage I’d say Sligo and Longford will be the bottom two.

Longford will have enough to stay up. It’ll be a dogfight at the bottom again this season.

Think Bohs could be dragged in to it too. Hope Wexford stay up. Their manager seems like an affable chap going by his interviews on Soccer Republic.
