AISHS Limerick v Kilkenny-The Game to unite the board
good way to attack a post is to completely misrepresent it

KK have a psychological effect on teams that other sides don’t so if you give up a lead to them the opposition team can mentally collapse
ah i know you probably think that but 1 the current KK team doesnt really hold that over anyone of the top 5 or 6 teams anymore and 2 the blatantly obvious tripe in the form of if team A builds up a good lead they will be hard to beat etc etc is just bullshit but it seems you are the master of it

just popping in.

Stay for a while please, mate.

its probably 12 months since i was a regular here and the last thing i remember is that fucking idiot Chocolatemice and his bullshit about would he buy the white Limerick goalkeepers jersey or a regular green one and which would look best with his jeans for the day of the semi final and it drove me over the fucking edge at the time as i knew deep down we were doomed with cunts like that staking claim to our county team.

Not to worry, that prick hasn’t been seen since thankfully.

Tickets bought :pint:

Cody being completely disrespectful to an opposing team once again. Will he ever learn…
Cody sees shades of Cats in Treaty attitude

We’ll shove those words down his throat.

Nobody is giving limerick a chance. :pint:

“The reality of the Munster final was that they could have been five or six points up after 10 minutes. Unusually Shane Dowling missed a couple of frees, he never does and certainly won’t ever do it again probably, and even shots from play. That was certainly gone out of their play the last day. They’ve obviously worked on that.”

It wasn’t gone, we had a heap of wides in the first half and I think we finished with something like 16 wides.

Eh, I think Brian Cody knows more about hurling than you, mate.

I know what Cody is at.

He’ll regret writing us off like that.

What is an advantage to them is that they’ve said many times that they didn’t perform to their ability on that day (last year’s All-Ireland semi-final) so that’s extra motivation for them, to ensure that wouldn’t happen again.

“In that game we got early scores which made it very difficult for them but for the rest of that game they were very, very competitive, we didn’t pull away at any stage from them

He is a master of the mindgames

what are the chances he will be inconsistant in favour of limerick?
say 20 frees to ten or something like that to the extent that it influences the result.
at a public talking shop back in May i am reliably informed that Cody especially but also Loughnane sneered like fuck when Ritchie Bennis proclaimed that the departure of DOG was ‘no loss’ to Limerick hurling.

the pros and cons of TJ Ryans management credentials will be judged in time but for now at least he has a LK team playing in some fashion which it can relate to and that gives Limerick a chance on Sunday.

How sweet would it be if Codys managerial reign was ended by a ‘TJ Ryan’ type.
:eek::eek::eek:

That’s gas, I was actually just contemplating the same problem. I think I’ll go with the green jersey.

unless they are dodging bullets of course
Jaysus - it isn’t definitive - just because a team expects to beat you doesn’t mean they will beat you but it does have an impact on the momentum of a game if things go against you during the game

Big difference going 6 points down in Croke Park to Kilkenny compared to any other side where you still feel you have a chance. The only team that doesn’t seem to feel that against Kilkenny is Galway.

My point is that starting well in semi final in Croke Park against Kilkenny is vital for Limerick

Against any other team if there is a strong wind you play against it in first half on basis game takes 10 or 15 minutes to settle down and then in second half momentum is all one way. Against Kilkenny I am not sure and I would play with the wind in first half
only if you are a prisoner of history.

if you are, on the other hand, simply a good hurling team who are ready to win an all ireland it will make fcuk all difference what happens during the match you will find a way to win
