AISHS Limerick v Kilkenny-The Game to unite the board

what the fuck is this? State the obvious Tuesday.

If Limerick score more goals and points than Kilkenny they will win. Otherwise they haven’t a hope

We beat the shit out of them in 73 in the pissing rain. No worries.

But obviously we play better in sweltering heat.

Met.ie saying heavy showers for Sunday. This forecast will probably change 4 times between now and then however.

Don’t mind Met.ie. Listen to me.

what are your qualifications? If I’m going up on the train Sunday morning and the cows are lying down in the fields around Ballysimon, it will piss and we will be bate.

You have the worst record in predictions that I have ever seen. Get up the yard

We’ll see. I am staking my entire internet reputation on this.

if it is biblical you should change your name to Dr. Jean Byrne for a week and wear inappropriate skirts too.

Should I pack a jacket or not?

There’s no harm to have it in the bag as there might be the odd shower.

What happened to the good old days of Limerick praying for a monsoon to bring the opposition down to our level?

A good whack of the current team would have played the inaugural aqua-hurling match in Wexford in 2009, Met Éireann can do their worst.

Big difference going 6 points down in Croke Park to Kilkenny compared to any other side where you still feel you have a chance. The only team that doesn’t seem to feel that against Kilkenny is Galway.

My point is that starting well in semi final in Croke Park against Kilkenny is vital for Limerick

Against any other team if there is a strong wind you play against it in first half on basis game takes 10 or 15 minutes to settle down and then in second half momentum is all one way. Against Kilkenny I am not sure and I would play with the wind in first half[/QUOTE]

The greatest load of shit i’ve seen in a long long time…

I think we can all agree that Kilkenny will be hoping for a wet day to drag us down to their level.

A wet day would not suit anyone, however theoretically it might suit Limerick better as Kilkenny are a far superior team(at least according to the bookmakers anyway).

great analysis here.
KK will be hard bet if they build up a good lead while if Lk build up a good lead they have a chance of winning while if LK play with the wind in the first half it may not make any difference to the result.

at a public talking shop back in May i am reliably informed that Cody especially but also Loughnane sneered like fuck when Ritchie Bennis proclaimed that the departure of DOG was ‘no loss’ to Limerick hurling.

the pros and cons of TJ Ryans management credentials will be judged in time but for now at least he has a LK team playing in some fashion which it can relate to and that gives Limerick a chance on Sunday.

How sweet would it be if Codys managerial reign was ended by a ‘TJ Ryan’ type.

good way to attack a post is to completely misrepresent it

KK have a psychological effect on teams that other sides don’t so if you give up a lead to them the opposition team can mentally collapse
