Tune in to RTÉ Two Friday 8:30pm when we’ll be talking @LimerickCLG #hurling with @gavinom6 ahead of @TheSundayGame

Do we assume that’s them fucked, or will the Limerick poster in question who hates to see GAA in the media just ignore this media appearance as he did with the similar one days before the Wexford game?
He would want to watch behind him first, those Ballinacurra/Old Chrsitians young fellas are tough.

Henry Shefflington gives a typically fascinating* insight into what makes him tick in this ad:

That’s amazing to be fair. Where does he come up with this stuff?
I feel inspired to increase my productivity, starting after this post.
Vroom vroom, beep beep, outta my way jerkass…
It does seem like an average enough Kilkenny team by their standards. Problem for Limerick is Kilkenny over the years have won plenty of All Ireland’s with average enough teams.

Having said that, if Limerick play any way to form and deal with the Croke Park factor it should be enough to win. That’s a big if though.
Limerick to win by 8 points.

Kilkenny do not offer a lot. Won a rubbish Leinster championship and found themselves in an All Ireland semi final. It is a nonsense scenario that Leinster champions get put straight into a semi final.

this is a critical match for limerick. two years in a row they have reached the all ireland semi final in with as good a chance as any of the other three sides of winning the all ireland. last year, like it or lump it, they were the only side who played sh1t when it counted. clare dublin and cork all delivered
if they do it again this year it will be very very difficult for limerick to get past their negative feelings about croke park
if the half back line was better i would give limerick every chance of coming through this but it is a poor line so far this year.
hopefully they will deliver sunday and again in september to save us from the dark side

Kk are as quiet as mice. Not a peep out of them. I think they know they are up against it. They have a record which speaks for itself, but when a team really puts it up them like tipp in 09 and 10, they can be beaten. Limerick in with a great shout here. Less hype from them. Playing kk has dampened expectation I think, which suits them.

The hype and media profile battle has been absolutely intriguing in the lead up to this one alright.

Gavin O’Mahony’s appearance on the Friday night GAA show could be the winning and losing of it.
It’s a bold move, but hopefully he can pull it off.

Would be a good stroke to have him on Saturday night with Miriam also and then not start him on Sunday?

Your obsession with performing gay sex acts with Limerick hurlers is getting out of hand Glas.

His buddies in Hamas wouldn’t be too impressed.

The Cody era is running out of options and running out of road and it is advisable to be quite in this situation.
The default mode for codys teams over the years when in doubt of the opposition was to just thunder over them and physically dominate the individual battles.
dont think this will be an option for them on Sunday. Fuck knows what Lk will bring but the minimum expectation will be that they compete physically, i honestly think this will be enough to have a chance to win the game.

I also think limerick have as good a set of forwards as there are in the country, but we’ll see. I’m really looking forward to it.

It was ever thus.

I’ve mugged off @TheUlteriorMotive & @Esteban de la Sexface in spectacular style here.

The first of many victories I am targetting this weekend.

Our only chance of winning has evaporated

Yep. This defeat will set us back for a long time :frowning:
