One of the few 2020 albums I’ve bought. The Budos Band Long in the Tooth. Ethiopian Jazz influenced Staten Island band. Very nice record.
Varo are one of the best trad bands around at the moment. They’re led by a French lady and an Italian lady who were both living in Dublin and got into the scene and met over on the Wet coast and started a friendship and a band. So it’s Irish trad with a modern European twist. The album came out this year. This is the first track and the last track:
A very good electronic album by Pole called Fading.
Seamus Fogarty A Bag of Eyes.
Doesn’t have the same immediate impact of his last album, the Curious Hand, but it is a good record.
