Lightworks is crazy but v good.
Achtung Baby 29 years old yesterday.
It’s still a masterpiece. The sound of a band chopping down the Joshua Tree.
I’ve listened to Bob Dylan’s Blood on the Tracks the last four weeks doing my weekly shop in Dunnes.
It’s a little ritual of mine now you might say.
There’s an hour long show on Sky Arts now about Coming Up from Suede
That is one of the best albums of the 90s for me, outstanding, their best.
It’s very good. I was a huge fan, would rank Dog Man Star higher but the first 3 albums are all classics.
This chap is criminally underrated
I had this on earlier and I realised that I must have spent half my life listening to it.
Moby - Play
Still listening to it 20 odd years later… not everyones cup of tea but claaassss
A masterpiece.
Nearly 25 years since I first heard it anyway
I’ve never listened to these lads bar a few tunes from de radio
Use your Illusion II
What’s the story morning glory
Without you I’m nothing (Placebo)
Astral Weeks
Rough guess.
David Bowie - Hunky Dory, + The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders from Mars
The Prodigy - Music for the Jilted Generation
Gorillaz - Plastic Beach
The Clash - The Clash
That’s disappointing
Thanks for that information bro.
Any time bud
Great thread for bringing back the memories.
Early Days -
Horslips - Book of Invasions (Mother’s influence, she was a huge fan)
Thin Lizzy - Live and Dangerous
AC/DC - Back in Black
Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin IV
U2 - Boy (by a country mile, their best. Peaked right there)
The first two disappoint myself and wouldn’t listen to them today, but I stand by the last two.
A man is at nothing if he hasn’t found Leonard Cohen as he matures.
Probably my most listened to since this thread was posted 5 years ago.
