The committee have concluded their deliberations and the seedings have just been announced for the Championship. The top two are in reverse order to their world ranking so Mr Djokovic will be top seed with Mr Nadal second. Mr Murray (3) and Mr Federer (4) both jump Mr Wawrinka (5). Mr Berdych is ranked 6 ahead of Mr Ferrer.
When will the draw be made? Friday?
Yeah, Friday.

How the men’s seedings work
Revised seeding arrangements for men were introduced in 2001 when the seedings committee disbanded. The following formula is now used:
[]Take ATP Entry System Position (ESP) points at 16 June 2014.
[]Add 100% points earned for all grass court tournaments in past 12 months.

Add 75% points earned for best grass court tournament in 12 months before that.
Will Del Potro be playing?
I would be surprised if he is to be honest. I dont think we will see him till around the US open.
The draw for wimbledon is now up. Djokovic, Murray and Ferrrer in the top half of the draw and Nadal, Wawrinka and Federer are in the bottom half. Murray plays the David Goffin of Belguim in his first match. He should win this but I dont think it is easiest of open matches.
Djokovic is playing Golubev in his first round match, not an easy one either but he should win.
Nadal plays Kilzan in the first round and if gets to the next round he will play the winner of the Paire and Rosol. Could be interesting if its Rosol?
mens draw:
Nadal is more at danger in the opening rounds than he is in the latter ones. I think it takes him some time to settle from the switch from clay to grass and the surface suits him better when the court gets harder towards the end of the tournament.
Murray’s path to the semi looks pretty straightforward, should Dimitrov make the quarter then he might ask some questions.
Nadal will be happy with his draw, Djokovic seems to have drawn the tougher side this time round.

Nadal will be happy with his draw,
Will probably be facing Lukas Rosol in the 2nd Round. What could possibly go wrong there.
Thats if he gets through the first round.
Comfortable straight sets win for the defending champion Andy Murray over Belgium’s David Goffin on the opening day of the Championship. Of the other seeded players in action, Grigor Dimitrov, Tomas Berdych, Mikhail Youzhny, Ernest Gulbis and Kevin Anderson all advance. Fernando Verdasco the only seeded player to crash out so far.
There is no place like Wimbledon.
According to Lindsay Davenport, Mauresmo has a great vibe about her.
Snigger.
some crowds down there today, twas backed up to junction 10 of the 25 around 2 o clock
what would happen if some paki cut you off pal?.. id say its a total rate race there
I thought Goffin would have put up a bit more of a fight. Djokovic was on fire today.
Stousr and Stephens went out in the ladies today.
Tsonga as usual making hard work of his match and has to come back tomorrow to finish it off.
Some lad called Martin Klizan has taken the first set against Nadal by 6-4
Nadal’s service game is a huge weakness in the early round at Wimbledon. Grass courts are much more of an advantage to dinosaur servers much in the same way gusty conditions suits set play football teams.
