John brought the Galway clubs together when no one could to to keep Galway Utd alive and association football has gone from strength to strength in the West since. He also oversaw the development of Terryland, now Eamonn Deasey Park back in the noughties. John is an Irish hero

Very good show there.
Much better than the tv3 effort. In fairness that was more balanced. Yes he did almost bankrupt the association and used FAI money as his own but he gave out grants to beat the band so its a little bit of good and a little bit of bad.

Presumably that’s the same Aoife Kavanagh of mission to prey fame?
How anyone can defend this cunt and still claim to be a fan of Irish soccer is beyond me.
Even pretending to love him for the sake of some online ‘persona’ is so unthinkable when you consider that he was having monthly rent paid that was more than some LOI clubs were getting in grants annually.
