All-Ireland Football Championship 2022

Given how Roscommon have performed against Ulster teams in Croke Park over the last decade, you’d have to say we wouldn’t have.

Can I interest you in a Firestick?

I believe Dublin are missing 10 starters

Rory Gallagher spitting into his hands count is exponential.

Smashing score that.

I don’t like that Derry don’t wear their white jersey anymore

You’d presume the Kerry-Cork All-Ireland semi-final will be played down south?

If it’s played in Croke Park you’d have a very contracted attendance.

Roscommon drew with Derry in the league and actually finished above them. Derry have improved since then though, their progress under Rory Gallagher is like something from a bygone era and heartening to see. Have the Rossies actually taken that many beatings from Ulster opponents in HQ since 2012? One against Tyrone in 2019 maybe?

Poor Sky Sports always get dud matches

Tyrone beat them in 2011, 2018 and 2019. Easily each time.

This deciding not to tackle is a strange tactic for Clare

Clare have remembered they are Clare.

Oh wait, they have forgotten.

Goal for Clare.

That 2018 Super 8’s series was dismal enough for them alright. They did at least beat Cork in Pairc Ui Rinn in the 2019 Super 8’s dead rubber.

Great finish from a tight angle by Lillis.

Interesting goalkeeping approach there for Lillis’s goal. You don’t see the ‘turn your arse to it’ approach at intercounty level that much

Can’t beat a lad closing his eyes and driving his foot through it alright

He can probably justify it though on the basis it’s the biggest part of him.

It’s Pride weekend in Dublin so perhaps he wanted to get into the spirit of things.

Looked more like a cheeky outside of the boot finish rather than pure power.

That almost broke for Clare. Could have been goal number 2.
