Watching the 91 Munster Final replay. Some game. A throwback to when a Cork player could take a hard challenge and not roll around on the floor for a few mins. Great days

Declan Ryan’s cowardly assault on Jim Cashman turned that game, Jim was too much of a gent to lie down and roll around.
Declan Ryan doled out a nice bit of timber that day. Would probably have gotten two red cards for it today. Odd cos I don’t remember him being like that.
Actually it’s not kildare, wicklow are actually the biggest underachieving county in gaa.

Never understood what Jake Dillon brought to the forwards. Very few scores and too rotund to be a timmy mc or a bangers

In many ways it didn’t . If you watch a lot of their defenders were a bit stand offish , trusting the extra number of cover space . There seemed to defend territory rather than opponent . The few weak forwards were a problem when only playing with 5
