I’d love to see the 2013 drawn final again.
@dodgy_keeper I agree totally with your assessment of RTÉ here. Pick the dead obvious games such as the Munster final in 04 that was literally shown on TG4 about a week ago.
There have been some absolutely cracking games over the last few years that have gone under the radar.
Galway v KK in 2014 in Tullamore, that Waterford v KK humdinger in Thurles in 2013, the Waterford v Kk semis in 16, the Galway v Tipp trilogy, Cork v Tipp under the sun in Thurles in 2017, Clare v Wexford replay in 14, Limerick v Kilkenny last year - a fierce battle - I could go on and on, and this is just the last few years. Shocking stuff by RTÉ with a chance to really showcase some quality games that we should be reminded of - we hear enough about the 95 final, the 90 final, the 18 semis etc. etc.
The gas thing is that it isn’t shocking by RTE .
I always disagree with that notion as it being a terrible defeat, Waterford were outstanding on the day and would have beaten any team on the day.
I have these on HD mp4. The KK match had a spectacular last 10 mins. It all kicked off when Conor Cooney goaled, and Daithí tried to fillet TJ from the puck out. Johnny Ryan bizarrely gave a free against TJ, and we got another goal from the free.
Powerful stuff
Manly stuff
It broke my heart but I’d absolutely love to rewatch the war Limerick and Kilkenny fought in 2014 again
Ah yeah, that made great television let alone great sport.
Christ , the physical transformation of TJ from then to now. Obvious benefits of becoming practically a full time athlete.
That really was a superb goal from Eoin Kelly in the 2004 Munster final.
@Big_Dan_Campbell @Fagan_ODowd what year was it ken McGrath was a sub and came on early enough full forward in maybe an all Ireland semi final? They nearly won the game.
Wonderful goal.
Lovely jab from Shanahan.
Gardiner was rightly ashamed of himself after that I hope.
That was a wonderful score by mulllane
Who was the last player to where the no face guard helmet? Can’t have been many after joe Deane and Paul Flynn.
The legs of sean og were gone at this stage
