Playing every single championship match at home didn’t affect them either.
Parnell Park?
Croke Park is a national stadium located in the capital city.
When Arsenal or Spurs play in Wembley, are they playing at home?

He certainly seems to think so.
They made that decision without knowing the county football manager? Walsh said no way 3 weeks ago.
Both teams will lose out. Dual player does not work.
Shane Dooley will play both codes in 2013*
- until mid to late June anyway

might be as long as Cahir Healy knocks out of it if he goes dual next year
Cahir is travelling next year so that wouldn’t be hard.
For fuck sake. Seriously. For fuck sake.
Go for a walk
Liam Griffin has said the GAA should be ashamed of itself over its failure in the promotion of hurling.
"Australia is 24 hours away, yet we can create a new game with the Aussie Rules lads. Longford and Leitrim are right here, yet we largely ignore them and many others too when it comes to promoting hurling. The new D. J. Carey could be living in Longford, Leitrim or Donegal, but we’ll never know. We have failed him. […] If someone can market coloured gripe water, call it Coca Cola and clean up worldwide, we should be able to sell hurling in Longford
@farmerinthecity … what do we have to do to get it off the ground in Leitrim?
Seriously tho, and Donal Og touched on it during the summer- Could we not get an Ulster, Connaught and maybe a midlands team involved for 5 years or so to raise the profile and get lads playing at a decent standard- The idea can be revisited annually-biannulay or 5 years time, the game is on a high, the time to strike is now.
Ya so we get into self congratulatory “aren’t we fecking great” mode. The powers that be think they have their job done when we have years like this. Thing is it has nothing to do with them, it’s actually in spite of them.
Yeah, all we’ve heard from the Clare camp is how local teachers and clubmen went out and did the work for nothing more than the game itself- Meanwhile millions was pumped into Dublin. Both appraoches have to meet in the middle and I don’t care if the big wigs stand around slapping each other on the back, there is love for the game in pockets all over the country and in each county- Let’s give them a platform to build the game up.

Realise the brilliance of Clement Cunniffe.
Antrim can barely get all their players to turn out, would be very hard logistically to prepare an Ulster team. I think it’s a good idea though.
And you’re right, hurling is on a high. It doesn’t matter how it came about, the opportunity is there to drive it on.
Would you be happy to throw your lot in with the Rossies and Sligo?
The chance for the likes of farmer to go to CP and support a team they have a connection with playing hurling in championship can only be a good thing.
