All Ireland Hurling Championship 2017

This is some shambles of a piece from the Irish Times. No wonder they can’t make a dent in the online sport media market.

Fennelly played 60 mins for Ballyhale this evening.

I think Kilkenny will defy the odds yet again.
I take Galway to win Leinster and beat Chip in a semi but KK take revenge in the big one after beating Munster champs Waterford in other semi.

Brian Cody has another all Ireland in him. Might not be this year…but they’ll have a big say.

The man’s a genius.

Brutal stuff that,

I thought Tyrells piece yesterday about Cork was decent though.

A picture of Richie Hogan for Maher

It was. But this is like something you’d get in a league match programme about 15 years ago.

Any word how he fared ?

It’s actually insulting to the hurling championship…other then the provincial and AI odds…it was scutter of the highest form.

The Irish Examiner online are the only crowd who put in half an effort.

They don’t give a shit. All they care about is rubby

If Ian O’Riordan genuinely believes Conor Cooney has a chance of being Hurler of the Year, he should be all over those 40/1 odds.

I’d be tempted to throw a few pound on him.

Class hurler.

He lasted the hour. Colin was supposed to be very good as was Adrian Mullen

Great shout @gilgamboa

Few knocks, could affect the margin, I can see us only winning by 5 or 6 now.

Laois senior hurlers are sweating on the fitness of Cahir Healy for this Sunday’s clash with Wexford, while Paddy Whelan has been ruled out for the rest of the 2017 season.

Healy tweaked his hamstring in training over the weekend, and will be assessed throughout the week as Laois look to give him every chance of making it onto the field against Wexford.

One player they are definitely without, however, is Paddy Whelan. The Borris-Kilcotton man suffered a serious tear to his hamstring in the win over Kerry. The tear was so bad, the muscle has come away from the bone, which is likely to see him out of hurling for up to six months.

Ryan Mullaney is also ruled out with a recurrence of his shoulder injury, while Eanna Lyons has broken a finger, and is also set to miss the game.

Anyone listen to the snippets of John Mullane co commentating yesterday. Gobshite

At one stage he mentioned that Noel McGrath was trying to arouse the crowd. I was turning the car into Philip St in Waterford as he made this remark and I did well not to crash it.
