Iām dealing with a lad that described Alan McCrabbe (who is 10 stone soaking wet) as a gym monkey. Facts are a ānice to haveā but not a necessity.
Having said that I was really surprised to learn the Gerry snr has no all stars. Iād guess he was fairly harshly treated at the time because I remember having some absolute stormers around that time.

Gerry was unfortunate to be of the same era as one of the greats of Tipperary hurling who also seems to have been harshly dealt with. Amazing that Bobby Ryan only got 3 All Stars. With those stats Gerry was lucky to get zero.

The fact that hes light doesnāt preclude him from the gym monkey label. Its a variation on manufactured hurler, one the gaa (the sports governing body) tried to force into being through millions of over funding for one team in a supposedly impartial championship. But all it produced was awkward looking robots.
But yeah, rushe has two all stars. Gerry mac has none

Christ aboveā¦JJ and Hayes are 2 gobshites. The waffling they were doing at the start about poor attendances

Agree. Really like Cheddar but the JJ/Hayes combo is horrific. They nearly bring the worst out of wooly then also.
