Impressive second half for both teams in different ways. Kilkenny cutting the gap back to one and Galway pulling away again.

Galway showed the real mark of champions the way they finished over last 15 minutes. Kilkenny will invariably always get a run at you at some stage in any match. Obvious contrast for Galway with 1997 quarter final, when the Kilkenny run turned into a full scale Galway collapse and loss. That win could be worth a lot to Galway compared to sleep walking their way through a 2nd half to an 11-12 point win as looked likely coming up to half time and early in the 2nd half.

It was alright for 10+ years while they did it to Tipperary and Cody choose his favorite referees. Now that ye stopped fighting and became competitive ye realise its a big issue.
When galway lift liam in August they can thank us for giving them the kick up the hole they needed.

Duignan and Marty are a fucking pain. Duignan after 55 mins 'This game should have been played in Portlaoise". After 68 mins when Scanlon of Kk was fouled âwe may have to see the introduction of black card for fouls like thatâ. No mention of this in previous 10 years when Kilkenny were doing it wholesale.

If we donât win, I would be hugely disappointed. It wonât be easy but they are definitely beatable, if we are in form, we should match up fairly well against them.
Between the U21 ref during the week and this lad itâs no wonder we make it look difficult. Cunts.

Richie Hogan was some disaster for Kilkenny in the last 12 minutes. Fucked up every single ball that came his way. Sad when a career peeters out like that.
