The big question for Laois now is where next. Is this a great year and a great achievement, or is there the pain and the talent to take it a step further. Tbh, after the last few weekends you’d have to say they are not that far away at all. I’d love it if you had Laois right in the mix in Leinster next year. Here’s hoping the appetite is there.

I really can’t understand why people were hyping up Cork to win today and go further. They’ve three good quality forwards, a good midfielder and dodgy backs. They caught Limerick cold on Limerick’s first day out, were well bate by Tipp and lost to a poor Clare side.

I said the same thing to my auld fella last night, lads were tipping them to go all the way and win it (particularly that fucking tool from Offaly, not Duignan, the other fella), on what basis? Beating a Limerick team that were miles off the pace?

Cork were very poor today, the game was no where near the intensity of the Leinster final, I’d say Cody tore into his players at half time, they came out a different team and Cork couldn’t get near them for about 15/20 mins. Even after that Kilkenny picked off scores so much easier than against Wexford.

Cork should look to tj Ryan and Davy Clarke to start the rebuilding process. It worked for limerick.
