Too many middling greyhounds lingering on the panel like a bad smell. Thereās a forward line there to win AIs if we can get the right target men for PUC outs/ ball winners beside them. Obviously the defense has to improve which is no secret. Fuckit Iāll stop because I want to save my big spiel for when the championship is over as a whole. Cork are gone so the conversation shouldnāt really be about us.

Iāve actually known Tim personally. An absolute gent and a character. Hope his hurling career can spark next year perhaps as a ball winner on the half forward line ala Hegarty.

Id play him full forward with horgan and cadogan on either side. Play Harnedy in half foward line. Would love to see Twomey and o regan from u20s giving time in half forward line in league.

Extra time in GAA matches is invariably a shambles. Out of the allotted 20 minutes, youād be lucky to get 5 minutes of play with a stream of substitutions and players cramping up. Two terrific semi finals last year over 70 odd minutes and then a shambles of extra time in both matches.

Itās definitely run off far too quickly. The semi finals should be on consecutive weekends. It halves the amount of coverage that can be afforded to games too. The quarter finals should be over two weekends too. These are your showcase games to promote the sport and the GAA is halving the coverage, and probably diminishing the audience too.

Club is king. Iāve no issue with the latter stages of the intercounty championship being run off quickly.
Itās a disaster when you canāt plan for your club championship matches and are at the mercy of the intercounty team. We are still in limbo and waiting on Saturdayās result before knowing where and when weāll be playing.
