Itâs kinda annoying when the same deficiencies are still there game to game and year to year. Granted we lack the quality of the top teams but some of these weaknesses are the type of basics that should be cleared up irrespective of that.
Basic puck out strategy, free taking, carrying the ball into tackles, careless execution of easy passes and shots, not recognising obvious things in game like where to aim with the wind in the first half and so on.
We were level or thereabouts with Galway after playing against a storm in the league semi-final first half, yet they blew us away in the second half anyway. Not sure if thereâs anything in us to be honest.
