Galway entered Leinster in 2009. Only Cork in 2003 and Galway in 2001 and 2005 had beaten Kilkenny in a knock out Championship match under Cody at that stage. Wexford beat them in the Leinster Championship in 2004.

Galway have a decent record In a mini league in non knockout games. In actual knockout games Galway have continually found various ways to shit themselves v kk. Theyāve an awful record. No win since 05.
That was possibly the hardest test Kilkenny got during their 4 in a row. Two Kilkenny goals in a minute as youāve said about 6-7 minutes from the end skewed the final result somewhat but it was very much in the balance up to that stage.

Every game in the round robin has to be treated as a knock out game, Limerick for example were gone yesterday if they lost, and Kilkenny have dug a big hole for themselves.
You really lose all credibility when you mention āshit themselvesā considering you are from Limerick. With the exception of Waterford in 2008 nobody shat it like Limerick in 2007. Limerickās sole win over the Cats in 45 years was last year after Galway had destroyed them mentally in the Leinster final. You should be thanking us as I donāt think ye would have beaten the Cats team we played in the drawn Leinster final.

Iām struggling to recall an All Ireland Final that was decided quicker than 2007. Even in 2008, Waterford hung in there for 5 maybe 10 minutes longer at the start.

Look mate I have no complaints, Iāve seen my county win multiple senior IC AIs in both codes. When it comes to proper GAA counties with a proud historical tradition in both codes, thereās only ourselves and Cork really.
