He wouldnt be the only former Wexford based TFK poster to send their child there too.

Bring him down to Craobh Chiarain and you are sure to avoid any middle class types. If he has red hair he will integrate seamlessly. He will also learn some valuable life skills such as fighting, hot wiring cars and how to roll a joint using only one hand. They are also quite good at hurling and shit at football. Just like Wexford.

Rolling a joint with one hand is Britainā€™s got talent stuff

@Scrunchie I presume?

I lived close to Kilmacud but now have to deal with Croppy Junior, and the one on the way, possibly lining out for St Eunanā€™s in the Kilkenny colours.

That is a current battle waging inside my house. Except we live in the parish of my club but kids go to school outside of it.

Weā€™re quite liking where weā€™ve bought. Without being too specific due to INTERNET freaks who might try to attack me in real life, itā€™s quirky to go 5 minutes in one direction and be in salubrious surroundings and 5 minutes the other way for potential demonstrations of those life skills you mention. The Howth Road acts as an unofficial boundary line perhaps. One of my neighbours in our enclave plays with Clontarf and next door to him is an entire family of St Vincents folk. I also see plenty of Raheny trackies and a bit of Craobh too. Itā€™s not dissimilar to the myriad of GGA football clubs in Wexford town.

You could say that Killester village is somewhat of a crossroads in terms of GAA club affiliation

As a Wexford man it just depends on which way you decide to dance at it

A lot could depend on whether your son turns into a giraffe

Always an inter-county man myself. I loves me county

Or a giraffe hunter. There was huge cull in wimbledon this year on griaffes. Only one left standing and poor @Cicero_Dandi doesnā€™t know who to cheer for, the giraffe or Nadal.

If he wants to become a grass court tennis player then he needs to start grazing ASAP.

lads, any gaa club is fine. if they are in from the beginning they are fine and will find their own way. its the scummy soccer you need to worry about and keeping them away from that.

Some right weirdos overthinking things here.
Does anyone here work?

Iā€™m planning on getting back into the swing of things post Leinster Final from next Monday onwards.

Scully is a tool

He is, but an extremely harmless tool in fairness.

Aye, agreed. Every county has the likes of him.

All of the above are decent clubs including Craobh. They would all give equal billing to Hurling and Football which is important at juvenile level because of the way the fixtures are set. Clontarf would be extremely well organised but absolutely full of sunglasses on the heads merchants. The others not so much. Vincentā€™s may not be overly welcoming to culchies unless your young lad is very good. Then they will roll out the red carpet.
