If it was Hego theyâd want him arrested.
Post of the year.
Lock the thread.
Oooft.
Shur, lookit, I suppose, if it was Limerick youâd all be clapping like trained seals celebrating the GAA for decisive action. You want justice on your terms and thatâs the real issue here.
Theyâre selected on TSG because you they were significant, missed by the ref, and caught on camera. Iâm surprised you struggle with this.
Why has Rob Downey so many lads from different counties rattled?
It isnât because it is not objective. But if TSG ignored all issues theyâd be slated for that as well.
Weâre well over it at this stage. Silverware does that to you.
The wrong fellas got cited and banned
All the roaring screaming about use of hurley worked, but theyâre still not happy?
I understand what your saying but surely it could be accurately stated that the incidents reported were the worst incidents from both games?
Now, it would have been fair of TSG to highlight holding of players off the ball and put it out there that Officials are ignoring these incidents.
They canât beat Limerick on the field of play so they want to try and beat us in dark smoky rooms.
Again Iâd agree with that.
But, in Hayes case he was obviously reacting to something which again two umpires standing 20 feet away either ignored or hadnât the wherewithal to be watching.
Off the ball tackling & holding causes reactions and needs to also be addressed
Reacting to Sham Flanagan taking him to the cleaners maybe.
Please just try to think one step ahead for once. I think the civil service is reducing you to basic brainstem activity.
It could be stated. It may well not be true though.
Hayes was being held as well sure, thatâs why he raised the hurl. The images were bad but I donât think he hit him with any force at all, if he misses a game for it he can feel hard done by.
Sigh.
Iâll try slowly, for the last time. This wasnât âtrial by TVâ, it was trial by selected clips brought to you by TSG.
So if a player is being held he can chop down on a playerâs back ?
That doesnât make sense.
Iâd agree that overall itâs harsh. I donât think he was trying to âdoâ Flanagan. But Iâm not sure having now citied the action that they can back down on that one.
It would be great if Duggan and Hayes were free to play and we get a cracking game Saturday but itâs hard to see both overturned.
I want a citing commissioner that teams can report to. Whiney and Millhouse would love it.
âThe citing commissioner is brought to you today by Adare Manorâ
