All Ireland Hurling Championship 2022

Galway have never beaten Armagh in an All-Ireland football quarter-final.

Wexford have.

Galway have a 0% record against Wexford in the All-Ireland football championship.

Galway have a 0% record* against Wexford in All-Ireland series hurling matches.

*One draw in 1976.

What Limerick player misses the Final due to suspension?

Quaid would send them into meltdown.

Barry Nash to pay the price for others transgressions. Much gnashing of teeth and wailing and posted betting slips of Nash for HOTY. He’s not that kind of player banners. Marching down O Connell St. Shane Lowry making a statement pleading for clemency at the pro am

NCW has a strong soccer culture too hasn’t it? Although the two clubs merged recently so they’re all under the one banner now I think.

They won the Munster junior league in Rugby as well this season with a fair handful of footballers involved

It’s the hope that kills you

Good one

I think PD’s best position would be midfield. His partner there would depend on form. But PW’s best position would probably also be midfield.

summer holiday season?

Kilkenny dont travel in big numbers

Clare will have a big crowd but probably losing a few owing to the big numbers that went to earlier matches

Galway have football as well

Shows how far Wexford has fallen that they can barely field in football and expend most of their energy trying to avoid having to play Galway at minor hurling

I wouldn’t like to see anyone miss one but I’d fear that a few cards are marked. Plus the fracas last weekend will have officials trigger happy

Don’t worry, We won’t be stamping on anyone.

We’ll be there in our tens of 10’s.

If Galway are so concerned with minor hurling I’m sure they’ve been going to great lengths to develop their fellow Connacht counties to allow for a competition to actually take place there.

Agreed it’s not a wasteland at all, there are some very strong sides and players coming from the West. You have a senior side, premier intermediate side, and a host of intermediate teams which isn’t bad for a ā€œwastelandā€. You could easily have another PI side there next year too in possibly C/K or Ballingarry.

I’d expect a HUGE crowd from Clare Saturday, seeing as it’s their first trip to Croker since 2018. A HUGE crowd

Indeed. And strong rugby presence as well. The strong soccer culture keeps the football strong too I’d say, the likes of AJ O Connor
