Thatās what KK bring and if you donāt match it you cannot hope to win. Clare were outfought to almost every 50/50 today. And if you stick a man on TK like glue, it turns out you shut down Clareās attack.

I thought Clare would win. The loss of Conlon was massive. He is a calm general. He was replaced by Paudi Fitz, who with the greatest of respect is very limited at this level.
I would not use this performance as a stick to beat Clare. You often learn more in defeat than victory. Clare will be there or thereabouts next year. They had a bad day in the office, happwns to everyone.

Conlon will be 34 next year. The stragglers from 2013 arenāt going to get any younger or better. Itās a long time since Clare put in strong years back to back. This generation has put in three strong years - 2013, 2018, 2022. That seems to be the way of it.
