All Ireland Hurling Final 2014- Kilkenny vTipperary
I hope Tipp win, KK’s despicable food hoarding during the famine is still widley discussed to this day in Clare.
That and the fact they had 27 cricket grounds before Micheal Cusack gave them hurling makes them sufficiently loathsome to always support Tipperary
Ah Kid you’d have an auld soft spot for the Stripey Men no?

that jersey is another issue…stripes FFS…why not make the colours black and tan altogether

Ah here! Slagging a team off because of the formation of the colours they wear? Come on now…

i would be slightly leaning towards wanting ye to win simply because ye will get less of a bounce out of it. tipp wining would boost them enormously plus they have some very good younger hurlers on the verge of making it particularly John meagher whereas kilkenny will be trying to win in 2015 with more or less the same players that are there now other than those who will retire this year.

Which is only over a quarter of their current panel!

Up Tipp and Up hurling.

Don’t do it.

I hope KK win handsomely so that limerick can see how close they are and it will spur them on for next year. I would hate to see Tipp win.

No matter what the result Limericks current good state will be well franked.

Fucking hell.

I was finding it difficult to get motiviated for this clash up to a few minutes ago but John Fogartys scoop in todays Examiner has set the blood pressure appropriately towards the high end of the scale. Fogarty is reporting on the defacing of the “Welcome to Johnstown” sign by the foul words “Hon Tipp” in disgusting blue paint. The local shop keeper has condemned the act as unsporting behaviour and is suitably outraged by this, as am I. They’ll pay for this…so they will.

Did watching Cork get beaten out the gate make them realise how far away they are?

Between that and a Tipp flag outside Eddie Brennan’s house, this is war

I believe retaliatory strikes have already taken place involving the destruction of a sign outside Urlingford

and replacing it with

We expecting any surprises in the Cats team?
Richie Power will surely the nod ahead of Kelly. He could do something really radical and pick Walter Walsh again too. Larkin has been a great servant but offers nothing these days imo.
Half back line doesn’t convince me at all but unless Tommy has been flying it in training I can’t see how he can change it? Brian Hogan had a good semi final but I’m not convinced his form is back.
I am hoping on hope too it will read no 1 Murphy and not Herity.

Larkin is often good for a goal and manufacturing a few frees

Other than the winning goal in the semi final and tireless display in the Leinster Final. Get the fuck.

Tipp will need Lar and McGrath to actually do stuff to win this match. Kk will negate many of Tipp’s strong areas.
Tipp won’t get uncontested puck outs to the middle third.
Tipp won’t dominate midfield, they’ll probably come off second best.
Mick Fennelly will run over P Maher and prevent him dominating around half back.
Callinan will have little enough impact from play off JJ.
Add in that kk have a strong bench and Tipp don’t.

Verdict: kk win.

Thought Power got that flick for the goal? But yes Larkin is a shadow of his former self but then again half the KK team are but yet here they are again 70mins away from another AI.Really feel they will be gone for next 3-4 years after this whatever the result.JJ,Henry,Jackie,Tommy,Larkin and Taggy will all most likely go along with Cody and add to the fact the fear factor of playing KK is long since gone aswell for all teams then I would say enjoy Sunday gents because it could be few years before the Cats dominate again.
