All Ireland Hurling Final 2014- Kilkenny vTipperary

Looks like we’ll never beat the cunts again.[/QUOTE]

+1.

You’ll be scarred by that one.

Shefflin was way off the pace when he came on. Kilkenny won that playing with 14 men for the last ten minutes.

He was terrible. Fumbled his first ball over the line, and then couldn’t chase down maher and was slapping the arm off him and conceded a free. He’s beat. Some career tho, no doubting that.

M Fennelly & R Hogan looked to be way off the pace too.

Really highlights how far off the pace of the last day Tipp were. Joyce had some game.

Richie Hogan picked up an injury? Though I saw him looking a bit ginger entering the tunnel at HT.

Nothing he does now is going to damage his legacy in any case, but it’s hard to see him making the team in merit again if you were going by today.

Does Shefflin have more All-Ireland medals than defeats in championship hurling?

Shefflin has retired from inter county hurling

To me he never looked right from the start, Fennelly really struggled chasing opponents & pulled up midway through s/h. He laboured on in fairness.

Well that was shite. Same problems as always in the forwards. Noel McGrath should have been taken off after 20 minutes. Padraig Walsh destroyed him in the first half. All the forwards were poor not just Noel to be fair. Shane McGrath was outstanding in the first half. His score just before the goal was one of the best I’ve ever seen. He barely touched the ball while on the field in the second half I’d say though. Well done to Kilkenny, I hate their supporters but have great respect for the majority of their players.

Finally Dublin is a complete shithole

Agree with all of that although just the part of Dublin you would have seen around the ground. Glad to be back to the safety and glamour of D4. Tipp forwards were brutal-won fuck all ball yet they continued to rain balls down on the KK half back line. I couldn’t believe how static their forwards were. Noel McGrath, Bonner Maher and Lar did nothing really and all the forwards allowed the KK backs to clear the ball too easily. Flat enough atmosphere too for a poor game.

And Tom Dempsey

I wonder will Slimline Gavin retire from refereeing?

Woefully bad today for both sides, simply can’t keep up with play.

Thought Mick Fennelly did well, way better than the last day. Hogan started well but faded.

Match on again on TG4

Ya I thought Michael Fennelly was very good today for KK. The kk half backline was outstanding today aswell

Eddie Brennan rubbing salt into Tipps wounds on Twitter.

Our own crowd today did enough of that.

M Fennelly had a great game, his best in a long time

Richie Power stood up big time again today too.

Kk were much much better today . Nice way for the greatest ever defender and greatest ever forward to bookend their careers, and nobody could deny they deserve it.

The Tipp forwards reverted to type in the face of huge intensity

No forward line would have stood up to what the KK backs/midfield brought today. KK were immense. Looking at it here again now, pure savagery and hunger to win.
