I was talking to a member of the Limerick county board yesterday. He told me that a memo went out to all clubs with a message to pass onto supporters. They want the Limerick Fans to hum their support for the team when they take to the pitch on Sunday rather than roar or shout. A good steady hum will help the lads settle a bit better. In keeping with this tactic, Kiely will pass on his ingame instructions to the players through interpretive dance (like a bee giving directions to flowers to other bees in the hive).

How do you figure that? Galway moved to leinster in 2009, this is the tenth year of us having the same opportunity everyone else did, not having our first game against the munster or leinster champions, and weve reached four finals, a higher ratio than previous to that.

Theres of course another factor why we are one of the most successful counties now, televised games, as we saw in horgans attempted fix job two weeks ago being accurately called out. refs are now watched. We never got a fair crack in munster, were only allowed to beat clare, by the same powers that kept the likes of waterford as small fry for most of a century, but yere just happy to be there.
