I’d love it if it was @The_Dublin_Bay_Prawn.
Skehill is also a serious weakness for Galway. His puck outs are useless and isn’t a great shot stopper or great under a high ball.
The Galway goalkeeper being a serious weakness has been a given for as long as there has been a Galway hurling team.
Not really the lad last year callanan was solid enough. Vastly superior to skehill anyway.
And on tipp sides
Solid enough in that he just let the one soft goal through him.
This is a massive factor. Colm Callanan was fantastic last year, excluding his bizarre lapses for the two Waterford goals in the final. We’re very concerned about James. A good shotstopper but pure headless with a loose ball anywhere near him.
Kevin Moran’s goal was finished really well. He’s vastly superior to skehill.
Finally a bit of hurling talk on the final. Its only the biggest sporting event of the year ye cunts. What will flanagan do? Run around and leave daithi on his own. Skehills a bomb waiting to go off.
I presume daithi will follow Gillane. I’m hearing hanbury is a major doubt.
It was but he was far out. Colm should have saved it but he knows that himself. He owes us nothing
Hanbury is a doubt, Joe Canning is a doubt and Mac won’t start.
Thats whats being said alright. We haven’t much backs cover. And it could come home to roost.
Does that wankstain collins have to comment on everything. Must be five articles this week ive seen from him.
I didn’t release it was in the public domain. Gillane would clean hanbury but I can’t see Galway being so naive as to leave him on him.
@flattythehurdler needs to cold call the Hanbury household pronto to check the truthfulness or otherwise of this rumour.
All the talk of the Galway GK & Hanbury being out yet no one is mentioning that Lk’s defense hasn’t met a Unit like GY’s Forward Line all Championship.
This is the key battle imo. Can Hannon keep tabs on Joe? Can Casey handle Cooney. Who has the Hurling to track Mannion? Whelan? Niall Burke?
Limerick struggled against an average enough Cork Forward Line who had a misfiring Lehane.
I could be wrong, maybe Limerick have the plan in place. But the way Cork slowly eeeked out that lead in the Semi Final would worry me if I was a Limerick fan.
