The lads who give the abuse are exactly the useless cunts whoād never do a tap around a Club. Iāve massive respect for any lad who takes up the whistle.
Theyāre mental chaps.
Deranged
Liam Cahill is wan great Bainisteoir.
Itāll really piss off the Limerick lads when theyāre beaten by a team managed by Liam Cahill
Hi Liam, donāt rob my avatar
Iāll feckin haunt ya for that, ya avatar robberā¦ Or is it a tribute avatar?
Which is all well and good, but he half listened. He was extremely whistle happy on Waterford, but blew for nothing when kk were apparently similarly fouling. You either do it for both or neither.
It would be unusual to allow a former teammate of one of the managers to referee an All Ireland final.
Politically this may not be a good move for the GAA, and might also put Fergal under pressure.
Also, Liam Sheedy has raised the issue that he believes there is a Tipperary / Limerick rivalry which is an issue for him regarding referees.
@Fagan_ODowdā¦ I know a win is a win is a winā¦ But the people of Waterford will feel robbed if they do it this year and no fans there and no home coming. Are alternatives being planned? Iād publicly like to wish Waterford the very best of luckā¦ Galway ended their Famine, Limerick ended theirs and after 10 minutes of cursing and threatening to kill my family, Iād be happy for Waterford if they end theirs ā¦ Hopefully you do it next year in front of a full house against a resurgent Wexford, then everyone would be happy.
No. After 60 years Iād take it whatever way it comes.
thatās what she said
Liam Sheedy will be up in arms if Horgan gets the job youād feel.
they could give it to any referee in the country and thereād be links to someone involved in the match. You donāt ever have too many degrees of separation in Ireland
They should throw it in and let the ref leave his whistle in his pocket
Two Munster teams should mean a Leinster referee; whatever the allegiances, the GAA have made some very questionable appointments this year regarding officials.
Look, letās be clear, Liam wasnāt complaining. Liam had no complaints. There were no complaints from Tipperary after that game against Galway.
That provincial line doesnāt stack up as the hurling world in small . The best available ref should be picked .
Is the problem not that thereās only about 4 refs they trust and at the moment none seems to be from Leinster.
Very similar to rubby when you look at it.
The overall problem is that enough people arenāt putting their names forward to referee these days, which is now manifesting itself with this issue
