All Ireland Hurling Final 2025 - Tipp's 29th

Definitely a huge question mark over the All Ireland this year. Kilkenny should have been offered a replay.

Bears repeating that this Kilkenny group is nowhere near as bad as people make out. They’d have beaten Cork this year and last.

I somehow managed to watch back the second half at far as the penalty. It really is a horror film to watch. The execution by Cork is beyond words, never seen anything like it. In the stadium I remember watching 10 minutes go by and just begging for one score to go over or even have a few more wides. Shelly only had 7 puckouts in the 2nd half.

An absolutely bizarre statistic in the modern game.

Fair play to you for watching it. Was nightmarish stuff. Everything they touched turned to shit.

About to open a can here and start the full rewatch

I watched it back nearly as soon as it was over. Not for the squeamish.

You’re seething mate. Log off.

At one stage you just had to laugh at the ball hitting the post again and again. A nightmare all round.

How did a hurling fanatic like you not see the all Ireland?

Easily could have happened but winners make their own luck,as they say.

Brendan Cummins absolutely walked all over Shefflin with his HT synopsis.

Shefflin shouldn’t be ever again anywhere near an IC team. His level is stacked club teams and no more.

Indifference to either side and a family holiday. Glad I didn’t miss much

Awh man he has to take serious, serious blame here. Yes, the players dropped tools completely but a lack of in-match adjustments was unacceptable at this level. The Cappoquin lad on the sideline a joke then.

I still come back to Munster final being their last proper match. Tipp played three matches since that took place (while also getting to watch Cork play that). Minutes into players, trying out different things tactically and having to make in-match adjustments.

I think he’ll go personally

Far from seething mate. Lot more important things than losing a game of hurling. No love for Kilkenny, miserable fuckers but they suffered an injustice.

Dont think he has it myself.Would I be mad to suggest he strikes me as the type of Cat that wouldnt be too quick to give up the auld meejia coin? Just a hunch.

To tell the truth he doesn’t have it in the media game either

I think that was the one where Cahill goes full d’Unbelievable on the line grabbing a sideline flag and flaking it off the ground, dunno if twas caught on camera anywhere

I’d say you missed the most extraordinary final of my lifetime

Was extraordinary, but wasn’t a great game for the neutral in truth. The first half was mediocre. The second was, extraordinary, but so is Hamlet and I wouldn’t cross the road to watch it.
