All Ireland League - Proper Rugby

How does the promotion work from 2a of the ail?

Top of table goes to 1B automatically. 2nd, 3rd and fourth go into playoff with 9th in 1B for spot in 1B. 2nd home to 3rd 9th home to 4th. Winners play in one off promation/relegation play off. This is the same for all divisions

Unless the IRFU move the goalposts again.

Am.off.up.to fucking Armagh for Shannon’s match. Doing well last couple of weeks, be great to get that auto qualifying position.

On a great roll, hate to say it but they are playing very well. Cant see highfield slipping up anymore but a home semi in play offs is very achievable for the parish

Great to get a 2nd game in over the weekend

I see Joes son is involved.

Rory Suttor in back row for college is a great player…think he had a super rugby contract last season

I have seen schmidt at 15 good player dunno about 9. Suttor was with Warratars.

Chances at auto qualifying looking all but dead here at halfway into 2nd half. Big wind but just dumb use of the ball.

Typical Shannon

The ‘scorthy juggernaut rolls on in 2c

2 horse race with skerries

Malone and Banbridge arnt far behind Shannon now 1 team will miss out on play off

How many go up?

I think 1, but can’t figure out for sure

Top automatically goes up with the bottom from league above automatically dropping.

Then second bottom from league above and places 2-4 go into a playoff with winner going up/staying up

That’ll pretty much affect no one

Might give Garryowen time to get their house back in order

Affect fuck all in Laois anyway

In fairness one loss since christmas shouldnt be too much concern. The loss of Doyle as a coach will affect them bit john staunton will ensure that it wont be a distraction
