All-Ireland Senior Football Championship 2016 You Are What You Eat

Are you not a Kildare man?

Also, anyone giving O’Connor the label of a bottler is a fool. Yeah he missed a free you’d say he kicks eight out of ten times, but Jesus, two weeks ago he had the balls to shimmy around Daly and slot a point to get a replay. Mayo would’ve been at home today if it wasn’t for him.

Aye, but my old man is Mayo. My first memories of going to games were National League games in Ballina, Charlestown and Castlebar.

No one in their right man could blame him.

Was a v tough free even if it was given to him earlier on in the game…Mayo’s loss is unfortunately due to not having top quality forwards.

Hard for them to take as they gave it their all for 150 mins plus and arguably got the better of Dublins marquee forwards…

If it’s any consolation, mine wouldn’t know a football from a garden rake, and I’ll be lucky to get any before Christmas.

All of old. Nothing else ever. Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better.

Keegan didn’t commit any of the above mentioned black card offences.

He changed his set up. That is the prime example of bottling. I hate the term and believe it ia over used, and i like COC, but he bottled it. And what you do last week is forgotten this week. He bottled it this week, he saved it last week. Maybe too much time to think? Who knows.

He kicked it wide at his own side. Can’t do that.

I think it’s v harsh to say COC bottled it mate…if Mayo had the forwards they would have won that AI.

It really is as simple as that…given the circumstances that was a v tough free even on his favorable right side.

That disgusting bastard Connolly waving the imaginary card in the refs face with his drug fueled eyeballs popping out of his forehead was what got Keegan off.

I was watching him trying to get himself set and the linesman came in on top of him then, he was facing into the Hogan as if he was kicking it off his left at one stage. His routine was out of sync and it did look like he snatched a little at it, but I think to say he bottled it is harsh. Depends on your definition I suppose.

Diarmuid Connolly is the best footballer in the country.

I’ve said it before but it was again very unedifying to see the players and management teams from both sides appealing to the referee to issue cards to opponents.

The replay was never going to be a great spectacle…both defences were well on top…was intriguing though.

That is Gaelic Football nowadays…to think otherwise is naive.

Maybe so but all evidence suggests he is a loathsome individual.

I thought it was a great spectacle and game today.

That’s the difference between middlin’ footballers and makey-up “wizards”.
Class as they say is irreplaceable. Connolly, like him or not, is a quality player.

Clarke went the right way and was close but the beauty of the strike beat him.

Connolly is a quality player, evidenced today by his workrate, burying his chances, getting Keegan off and thouroughly enjoying the win. If anyone has an issue with his contribution to their victory get back to me.

I’d tend to agree with you…but he’s a young lad too who isn’t being paid 300k a week.

He made a mistake on a night out but look he’s young to be fair…he paid a fairly heavy price for it in the national media…I’d like to give the fella the benefit of the doubt…

It wasn’t really…I had my car in the NCT center for the first 20 mins…watched the rest of it but by and large it was a forgettable affair as most AI replays are IMO.

Intriguing absolutely…but a great advertisement for Gaelic Football definitely not.

Won his battle today and came across well I thought in his post match interview.

Good luck to him.
