Cian O Sullivan is very well spoken
Were Kerry too tentative and trying to hold onto what they have in the second half?
They really needed to go for it like Donegal did in 2014.
Amazing that an adult can speak.
Darragh Maloney said “Kerry left nothing out on the pitch”. Are they not meant to leave it all out on the pitch?
Geaney substitution was bizarre. Not like the game was over.
I wonder did Dr Hickey notice the cynicism in injury team?
Love the monotone interviews.
Mayo people will be a lot happier facing Dublin in the Final than Kerry
Not fit enough.
Shouldn’t have brought on beaglaoich also certainly not at that stage in the game
Ah stop
You clearly don’t know what that means
They showed a of character coming from behind like that to win a big championship match. It looked for all the world like it was shaping up as a reprise of 2014 semi final, when they carelessly through away a strong start against Donegal and got themselves 5-6 points down which they couldn’t claw back. Great game of football.
The team too. I think Mayo might have the legs to threaten them. Kerry running on fumes by the end.
Sitting on a 5 point lead against Dublin with 35 minutes to go was a bit too much.
All well in hindsight but they probably should have went for it a bit more at the start of the second.
It’s possible they can beat them but they’ll need to improve majorly. They’ve regressed if anything this year. Still though going into the final with low expectations will suit them
Or were they just flattered by the end of the first half?
It was a tremendous, absorbing game and Kerry were excellent for 5 minutes at the end of the first half and from 50-65 minutes or so but it may have been they relaxed, it may have been that they grew tired or it may have been that those spells were the exception and they weren’t really able to match Dublin when they went toe to toe and when Dublin were firing properly.
Kerry shit their togs against Dublin again.
No doubt, that 5 minute spell definitely changed the game and gave an unfair reflection of the 35 - it made a cracking game out of it.
Just ask them
I wouldn’t say that, there was nothing in it at 70 plus mins against a professional team
They probably felt if they could stop a goal they’d keep the lead but they missed too many chances in the second half. Not 100% the switch to defensive play that hurt them
