It’s nothing to do with being from Dublin. Get off your high horse for a while. It was a loose ball and McCarthy is fully entitled to charge in for it. It happened at top speed, there will always be collisions that look much worse on replays.
Mayo got away with one too after Keegans goal. But McCarthy’s was definitely the worst tackle or incident of the half. If that was AFL he’d be do a couple of weeks for a high impact intentional hit to the head.
