This is a massive blow for Waterford here. Their hurling has completely disintegrated since the 20th minute. While the sweeper will get the blame their composure and touch has been terrible since they missed those 4 chances in a row and their confidence has been drained out of them. Tipp are the last team you want to play when it happens.
Will be interesting to see their reaction in two weeks time.
Have Waterford ever won a championship game in Limerick?
I can only remember them playing one previous game there, in 2008 against Clare when they were thrashed.
The Munster championship is a farcical and antiquated competition.

Whereas Limerick never fear Tipp, Waterford seem to fear Tipp twice as much as anyone else.
Doubt they’ll be this bad again. Should edge past Wexford and valiantly defend their way to a 7 point loss against Kilkenny.

A lot of their younger players were giving it big licks after beating Clare, they could easily implode.
