All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship 2016

Wexford would almost fancy their chances of getting to an unmerciful hammering from KK in the AISF at this point.

Tipp v Gal/Clare could be a cracking SF.

Is Gleeson still out there?

Tip have possibly saved it today. Weird an all as that sounds

Hurling is done. The Munster Championship is toast. Its over.

Was thinking the same thing myself. While they’ll still be in the championship after this game it’ll be a big blow mentally and if they don’t turn this around and win the next few games their development as a team may be seriously stunted

+1
I fucking hate Tipp and every fucking thing and person in the shithole.
But this is a victory for hurling today.

This is an old fashioned proper beat down.

The big stupid wooly hat on McGrath.

as would the leinster championship be if we didn’t save it. should really just be a round robin series between the big three

The Leinster Championship is a procession.

The Munster Championship is a procession.

The All Ireland Championship is a procession.

Maybe Donal Óg and the boys have the right idea, take hurling on the road and play exhibition games. Its all thats left.

They look lost. Completely leaderless as well. That’s the worst thing. No one standing up for them.

Ger Canning has always been shit at commentating and identifying players. But he’s now at the stage where he’s tagging players he actually recognises with alternative names. He’s been diabolical in the past couple of weeks. Paidi Maher has been Mahony in the past few passages of play. Brian Fox was Pat Fox in the football final last week. Jack became John O’Connor for Wexford last week and there’s been a load of others.

GALWAY WE NEVER FEAR

Clare will beat Galway with their cap.

Ten minutes left and not a Waterford fan left in the ground… anyone listening to Mullane?

Mullane will find it hard to drive home through the tears

The likes of brick and Mahoney offer nothing in terms of workrate in the middle third. Bricks legs are gone and Mahoney is carried for frees which have been a disaster today. Their backs are normally very aggressive and hard working but they have been very tentative today

Typically astute management by Derek McGrath to take off the players he thought might lash out and get a straight red.

This has to be the worst hurling championship in living memory.
