They’ve just shown multiple replays of the goal. There was no semblance of a foul by Kilkenny in the build up.
RTE saying next Sunday but no confirmation yet.
Umpires again - why are the consistantly fat, blind and over 70 years of age
Really. I think someone imagined something.
Other than steps from Colin Fennelly.
Saturday at 5 o clock
It would have been very harsh to give a free out
He only took 6 or 7, that’s plenty below the permitted 14.
What about that sneaky slap that little hogan bollox gave Gleeson - he’s forever getting away with it the little runt
Poor Gleeson my hole. He’s the sneakiest cunt going for leaving the hurley in late.
There was only going to be one winner today too!
Yup, that was missed alright. Should have been carded
I never said poor Gleeson but why isn’t hogan ever pulled, he’s alway flicking and slapping with hurleys - dropping the shoulder than to look as if he’s been caught around the neck, catching fellas hurleys under his arm - I really wonder do referees watch hurling at all
You do realize the speed real time hurling is played at, Owens hasn’t the help of TV replays. He got all the major calls correct IMO. I don’t hear you whinging that Barron got a soft one at the death.
You are from Wexford. The only thing ye have is referees so i cannot expect ye to be balanced. Ye will protect them to the end.
Of course i wanted Waterford to win. But 3 clear frees to Warerford were not given that led to 1-2 to KK. Jamie Barron was fould numerous times but no free and advantage played. A few times this led to turnovers. He played the advantage , often correctly, to KK all day and they got 2 maybe 3 scores from frees brought back.
The 2nd half was one of the worst and most boased referee displays i have seen in years.
You are talking to a bluffer/pub talk merchant
As small minded as it seems to constantly be making this point about Kilkenny, it’s very true. That slap down Walter got booked for was everywhere today. His was only the wildest edition of it.
That’s a clamping.
But if a referee is watching games and watching players he surely knows what to look out for no? It’s a common trait with some players eg what I mentioned about hogan, he does it every day and is at it with years…what’s the saying about fool me once…
