Brick was a hell of a lot better last Sunday than any other game this year. Up until last weekend he looked a passenger tbh.
Buff Egan has just backed Galway to win the AI
Can you believe that though?
Is he on here lads
That must be a whole month’s pocket money for the poor demented hoor
Is that same chap who told the world that Clare would win the AI after the League Final?
If I was from Galway I’d be extremely worried that a horrible HEX has just been placed upon their hurlers.
And you are Irish don’t forget… we are riddled with insecurity and weakness … according to some sages
Galway beat Clare therefore Galway are the best team ever
I honestly thought Brick was on borrowed time after the Tipp game but his spoiling game was ideal against the KK halfback line. I still think Waterford will need an upgrade to someone who contributes something to the scoreboard if they’re to move to the next level though
Galway have rereinvented hurling
Ya maybe. I think they can win the AI this year, but i also kinda agree. Who have they coming thru?
They can absolutely beat KK but I do think KK will improve so Waterford will need to also. If Tipp can stay focused and hungry I can’t see them beaten though
I don’t know who Waterford have coming through but they do have a few handy U21’s
Did Kilkenny ever lead in the second half last Sunday?
Did they ever lead in the match?
They were 6-5 up at one stage in the 1st half, didn’t realise this until I watched it again. Thought the were behind or level for the whole game
I don’t think they were ever more then two ahead in the first half but I can’t remember them ever going ahead in the second.
I dunno where the hope is for Waterford on these pages is coming from tbh. They scored two points in the final 21 mins last Sunday when the game was there to be won. One of them was a tap over free that was moved forward.
I haven’t seen KK that rusty since 2013 yet they still put up a good score. I think the replay will follow a pattern of the previous couple of years semi finals- KK going out in lead and coach Derek making sure the Deise keep the defeat to below six. They’ll be happy then with the laurels of a good effort especially considering where they’ve come from vis a vis the Minster final.
