If yesterdays Football had been a draw is dread to think of the coverage the hurling final would get ahead of the weekend.
A stale pairing producing an inevitable result has really switched the general public off imo.
I think Tipp can trouble the KK FB line but my fear is our HF line. McCormack’s ability to leave a mark on the game is questionable, Bonnar is Bonnar & Noel McGrath is again flighty too so will be nullify Walsh for example.
Midfield should be pretty even.
Lads according to some Dublin’s success is down to the free gourmet food they are fed. Does mean the Kilkenny’s success is down too the free food they get in Langton’s?
Hurling urgently need s a sin bin system. Lazy analysis said frees kept KK in the game in the first half on Sunday. Tipp giving away frees went a long way in winning them the game.
Tipp’s persistent fouling should have been punished more as they prevented any KK attack from developing. This stunted confidence and as a result KK got less creative as the game wore on. Had Ronan Maher been put off for ten mins we might very well have seen a different result.
