Then two years later when they won Leinster again they had to play their semi-final as a stand alone fixture in Portlaoise at 6:30pm on the August bank holiday Sunday evening.
At least these lads are getting the honour of effectively opening a new stadium, and the Clare senior team are playing afterwards too.
