All-Ireland SHC Quarter-finals 2017

can we bump the TFK exclusive thread ?

I’ll put on some breakfast for anyone who wants to stop over in Letterkenny.

Sure they can but my point is that the GAA should fix the games to maximise accessibility not showcase a white elephant.

not to mention the followers of the brave and faithful who travelled to Scotland via Gdansk by bus for a heineken cup game

That’s the spirit.

You’re dead right - Maybe we should start at home first before bringing in outsiders who don’t understand our culture — The GAA should throw big money at the Munster Supporters club to write a self help travel guide for idiots like @Appendage who have no intent on travelling to games.

It was either Thurles or Cork - it’s hardly that much of a difference. You’re being a moany Michael here.

Any GAA man worth his salt will be well up for going down to Cork and checking out Frank’s new facilities. Sure, the game on Saturday is a shite time but head down early, get a bit of carvery and 2 (two) pints and then suanter out to the ground. If you’re worried about traffic afterwards, stay on and have a few more pints.

I’ve got a designated driver for this one, so it’s much more pleasing than going watching the match in some hellhole like Portlaoise

On second thoughts, Wexford-Waterford should be in O’Kennedy Park, New Ross. It’s a disgrace it’s been fixed for Cork.

Faythe Harriers are taking ticket bookings tomorrow evening between 6pm and 7pm in PĂĄirc Charman.

Examiner now saying CIT v Glen will be on middle of next week. I’d be ringing the ground staff in Thurles and putting them on notice. Mind you they probably would be able to play both games in Pairc ui Rinn

The Clare crowd would break your heart with the constant gripes about everything. You’d swear the game had been fixed for Antarctica the way some of them are going on.

First Munster final in years and 6k travel for it - they don’t deserve shit.

Not bad considering we only got 1,400 tickets.

We’re not made of money. Willie Clancy just gone and the Fleadh again next month; and you’ve to try and fit in a couple of nights above at the races too. Plucking banjos and batin’ bodhrans is barely keeping us in bare feet nowadays.
