All-Ireland SHC Quarter-finals 2017

Groovy Mike, I’m not trying to claim anything here. Just spouting off.

the Glen/ CIT game that was meant to be on in the Park this weekend is now not taking place allegedly
@caoimhaoin did you hear this?

Top advice there!

Would it be possible to sail across from Wexford to Cork?

Clare fans are always pissed off.

Last year they were pissed off with poor aul Davy.
This year they’re pissed off with the new management.

Can you flesh this out a bit, would it not be easier for a lot of Wexford people to shoot towards the Dublin/ Cork motorway?

Probably be quicker for north Wexicans to just come up the N11, get on the M50 and then the M8. Stop off in Poitin Stil for the breakfast.

Leave the low road clear then for the south Wexicans.

So there’s no problems here at all? Thanks bud.

Or maybe just set off next Monday

Weekend in Cork on the lash…shur how bad. Lads have little enough to be moaning about obviously.

Head down on the Saturday and and join in with the merriment amongst the Tipp and 2 Clare supporters that night…

For a 3 hour drive? No that’d be silly, Mike. Saturday evening throw in so all day to make their leisurely way down.

Ah yea but “to be sure. To be sure”

All parents who bring their kids to the games. It’s all very well for non drivers like @Bandage who can happily get the train down and go and the lash.

Cork is a nice place, my favourite Irish city after Dublin, Galway, Belfast, Kilkenny and Waterford but these fixtures are a disgrace.

I know people who’ve brought their children on flights to places like Portugal and Australia. Can they not bring them in a car to Cark, mate?

Again, what do you care, mate? You’ll be at home watching tv having a whinge.

It’s impossible apparently … Fuck knows how soccer fans all over Europe support their team as they play away fixtures in the furthest reaches of their country/continent … Maybe the GAA could invite a select group over to hold a two day seminar to offer practical advice to GAA fans and coping techniques for driving/sitting on a bus/train for more than an hour.

Savvy supporters have booked hotels with free 24-hour or 48-hour cancellation. Are these potential problems with the venue the reason why tickets haven’t gone on sale yet? :fearful:
