Kevin Kinahan, Brian Whelehan, Hubert Rigney, Kevin Martin, Johnny Dooley and John Troy were all on that Offaly U21 team of 1992. All six played started on both Offaly All Ireland winning teams of 1994 and 1998.

Great finals . The replay was not a wet day . John Troy got a early goal but Waterford out pointed them thereafter. Paul Flynn who played in minor final that year was very good . Tony Browne too.

The standard of Leinster hurling is no different to that of Munster. In fact itā€™s better. You have Kilkenny obviously and Galway coming in second. Wexford, Offaly and Laoise are shite.
Then in Munster you have Tipp , followed by Waterford ( who are not as good as Galway)

Followed by Clare, Cork and Limerick who are all muck as well

Waterford have a strong wind this half too. Expect a raft of changes for the last 20. Turned into a training session. By all accounts the second match wonā€™t be much better
