Limerick really came down with a point to prove, to lay down down a marker, to show that they’re not flash in the pan All Ireland champions. I think their aggression caught us by surprise. Christ, they were absolutely filthy.
Sure they are playing a bunch of kids. Wexford surely have enough to match the intensity. Limericknhave nothing done but strolled through the games. The sign of champions!!

Wexford really got under the skin of Limerick today, a better and simlilary dirty team like Tipp will see what Wexford accomplished today, repeat it and dump Limerick out of the championship later in the year.

I think there’s better keepers than Fanning in Wexford. He’s standing out way too far for that Gillane goal and doesn’t have time to react. I think he can save that if he’s back on his line. No need to be out at the corner of his small square when there’s plenty of bodies there. Pity it came from a mishit point attempt off his left by Flanagan.
He made a cracking save from Dempsey I think he’s one of Wexfords leaders.
