Which half do you regret?

I hope mouses young nephew below in Glounthane doesn’t make the same mistakes, but with heroes like Nickie and Kyler how could it possibly be so?

He’s going to be a vet, mate … I’ll be bringing him to Limerick this summer to see his heroes!

He doesn’t regret the bit in the bank vault anyway

Were you the same fella crying a river the other day for the poor kids that didn’t get to see a Limerick player with the cup?

Did my post read as if I think it’s healthy that kids have youtubers as role models? It’s beyond fucked up, an inanimate object will never inspire anybody

The Cup?

I didn’t mean to bring it up again,
Perhaps the cup by itself is inspirational but I wouldn’t be so sure, the human face is what inspired the kids,
When Limerick won the u21 in 17 Cian Lynch came to our school with Pat Donnelly, couldn’t have been better, the kids still talk about him and follow his progress, he was inspirational, a very very fine young man, the cup is a bit of craic, an hour away from the grind and a few photos taken, but nobody will remember, it’s a box ticking exercise

I rwmember it coming in in 1980.
I think we were less entitled (genuinely) but i simply coukdnt quite believe it ,that anyone would even know our school , never mind bring in the cup.
Ah that final was the highlight of my supporting of any sport. We were conditioned to win nowt. Eamon Cregan nearly beat us on his own.
