Meath should be good in a few years when that Minor winning team filters through. They beat a very highly rated Tyrone team in the final. Maybe they should appoint whoever managed them to that title. 2022 too soon for them though.
I asked Steven back in and he hasn’t taken us up on the offer, which at this stage of his career we completely understand. To be fair to the rest of the squad and to ensure the strong team spirit of which Steven did so much to foster and contribute to, we will move on without him now and review the situation at the end of the season.
