You don’t see many points like these now? Fellas want to walk it into the goal almost.
Limerick, Louth game, you see a fella hovering around outside the D, and you are thinking “have a pop”, and it’s hand passed in another few yards or across the field.

There are lads who want to walk it into the goals. Maybe that’s the way it is at top level but you love to see lads scoring from out the field ala Pat Spillane !
While we didn’t see any of his customary rakers in that clip I’ve always had great time for Cavan’s Gearóid McKiernan. He’s a big man who covers ground at pace and can take a score effortlessly of either foot.
