Allianz National Football League 2024

Come championship it’ll be the same names again I’m sure. Shane Ryan in goal, a combination of Tom O’ Sullivan, Jason Foley, Graham O’ Sullivan, Gavin White, Tadhg Morley and maybe Brian O’ Beaglaoich at the back. Presume Paul Murphy will be gradually phased out. The midfielder partner for Diarmuid O’ Connor is anyone’s guess now that Jack Barry has gone travelling though.

David should spend less time hanging around race courses…they’re grand for fellas who have it made and can enjoy a bit of a flutter. Bad look for a young fella though

The right wing extremists always want to interfere with what others do with their free time.

Without David Clifford they are probably anywhere between 6th and 12th best teams in the country. Incredibly beatable.

It’s also a team sport and a little like Joe canning it’s impossible to do it all on your own. Eventually teams will figure out how to stop a one man band.

Seanie O’ Shea and Paudie Clifford are very, very good inter-county forwards too to be fair. Paul Geaney getting on a bit now and the likes of Dara Moynihan never fully convince. You’d think the conveyor belt would have produced another top class forward. Killian Spillane is good when they actually give him gametime.

Shur hes free to do whatever he wants…but you’d hate to see him falling in with bad company…some of his behaviour leaves a lot to be desired tbf

Agreed. They have 3 of the best forwards around including the greatest to ever do it, but a lot of rest of the pitch leaves a lot to be desired.

DOC is good in patches, and Tom O Sullivan is a fine defender. Apart from that it’s nothing to write home about. Cillian Burke at 10 could have a massive year for them, they have been crying out for a half forward for a while now.

Incredible stat. Talks of Dublins demise have been greatly exaggerated.

Wind is playing puck. As usual. That last Heaney one was heading over and the wind caught it.

Fantastic goal

L/Derry must have no respect for themselves. Mickey Harte as manager and playing in Tyrone jerseys.

Awful game only for Glass

J Daly is a great footballer.

He has a great radar on him. He’s badly missing Glynn and Sean Kelly though so he gets more freedom.

Galway doing relatively well considering they were up against the wind and they have an FBD selection out on the field. They have no answer to Glass and Rodgers in midfield once they get going though.

Tough viewing in Semple, Laois lead 6 to 1-2, both are shite

What a miss from Galway

Such a nonsense. Give the point and play on.

Big swing there after Daly missed 2 goal chances just before.

Molloy has been brutal this year. Trying to play himself off the panel.
